Flavio Auer

Flavio Auer studied physics, German literature, and philosophy at LMU Munich, the University of Oxford, and Stanford University, and graduated with master’s degrees in physics and German literature from LMU Munich. During his studies, he was funded by the Stiftung Maximilianeum, the Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes, and the Max-Weber-Programm des Freistaats Bayern. Presently, Flavio is a PhD candidate at LMU Munich and a Fellow at the University of Freiburg, studying the early writings of Ludwig Tieck from a philosophical point of view. He is interested in literature and philosophy around 1800, aesthetics, and the philosophy of physics.
