Current Cooperation Projects
The Max Planck Institute for the History of Science is part of an international network of research institutions and researchers in the history of science, and regularly welcomes visiting scholars and maintains close research connections with a number of institutes around the world and in various fields.
Close working relationships traditionally exist with universities in Berlin where the Berlin Center for the History of Knowledge takes shape. The Institute is a partner institution in Collaborative Research Centers (“Sonderforschungsbereiche”) such as “Episteme in Motion.” Collaborative efforts include digitization of historical data, the development of research tools, conferences, transnational research groups, and book projects.
