The ARTE documentary "Petro-Melancholie: Das Erdölzeitalter im Spiegel der Kunst” will be shown on June 22, 2022 at 21:50–22:40.

It features Research Scholar Benjamin Steininger and Alexander Klose, who wrote a cultural history of oil in their book Atlas der Petromoderne. The documentary takes a journey back to the petroleum age to illustrate how deeply and naturally our lives depend on the cycles of petrol.
