Commoning Biomedicine—Conversations: Connecting 3 Worlds
The Conversations are a series of mini-workshops designed to bring together scholars, archivists, digital humanities specialists and others to discuss new ways of utilizing oral histories of science and medicine.
Sarah Marks and her team will report on their oral history project exploring the history of health services in Ghana. Sarah is currently one of the principal investigators on the Connecting 3 Worlds Project which charts the complex histories of global health networks across the socialist world. This ambitious international project is funded by a Wellcome Trust Collaborative Award and over its course will produce, collect and archive numerous oral histories. Sarah and her team will discuss their collaborative approach to making oral histories and their plans for collecting, archiving and sharing the transcripts.
