Accademia Nazionale Di San Luca invited special guest, Sir Roger Penrose, 2020 Nobel Laureate in Physics, to give a lecture introduced by Paolo Icaro, artist and president of the Academy, and Claudio Strinati, art historian and secretary general of the Academy. Stefano Furlan and Rocco Gaudenzi, researchers from the Final Theory Program Research Group at the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science, along with academic architect Paolo Portoghesi were also invited to discuss the fascination exercised by periodicity with Sir Roger Penrose.
